Who We Are

We are a full service capital market operator and a member of the Lighthouse Family committed to bringing our clients the best results through partnership.

We are active dealing members of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Broker/Dealer, Issuing House and Corporate Investment Adviser. In addition to providing stockbroking services to individual and corporate bodies, we have also acted as broker to the issue of major floatations, and as receiving stockbroker and issuing house to several issues.

Over the last 30 years we have initiated, handled and participated in multiple aspects of the Nigerian capital market in our bid of turning our clients’ visions into realities.


Our History

Lighthouse Asset Management Limited (LAM) was incorporated in 1985 as Rims Securities Limited to provide, amongst other things, capital market services including various aspects of corporate finance, stockbroking, portfolio management and financial advisory services. In order to project its core area of focus, the company changed its name to Lighthouse Asset Management Limited in November, 2000.

The Company was admitted to the dealing membership of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on 30th January, 1986 and has continued to be one of the key players in the Nigerian Capital Market, having initiated, handled or participated in all aspects of the market over the last 34 years. In addition to acting as receiving stockbroker to many issues, the company has on several occasions acted as brokers to the issue for major floatations including those of NAL Merchant Bank Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc by BPE, the 1st & 2nd Kaduna state Revenue Bonds, AG Mortgage Bank, Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc, Dunlop acquisition of Hagemeyer, to mention but a few.

Volumes: Large and Small

We handle registers of various sizes from small recently floated companies to large multinationals. Specialist teams, either focused on the company or a particular process, ensure all clients benefit from concentrated knowledge pools regardless of the size of their register.

Dedicated Shareholder Communication

We take responsibility for providing a consistently high-quality service each time we interact with clients’ shareholders. Our call centre and correspondence teams are a dedicated contact point designed to respond to all our clients’ shareholder enquiries. The teams respond to enquiries at the initial point of contact and are supported by the latest register and corporate actions information from across the business.


We continually ensure that accurate shareholder records are maintained. Our real-time computer system enables us to reflect changes in shareholder details and share ownership whilst maintaining direct automated links with CSCS and our client companies.

We have strict service levels, confidentiality policies, and audit processes throughout our business and operate in accordance with industry requirements and guidelines including those of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory bodies where applicable.
